Cameo COLLECTION
The Cameo collection borrows its beauty from the natural and ephemeral wonders, beautifully rendered in the traditional Renaissance shell carving technique. Each piece is set in 18k gold, or crafted together with 925 silver-vermeil filigree or openwork. The Queen Helmet shells from which these cameos are carved come from the Caribbean islands off the coast of Panama, and are provided by local Guna shell divers.
Since the year 2000, Carlota has been training Embera-Wounan carvers in Panama in the process of cameo carving.

Each piece is hand-made made unique by our artisans, so please allow 6 weeks for shipping. Some of the pieces displayed in this gallery are out of stock, but could be reproduced or modified, in the case of gem set pieces, to include a stone of your preference upon request.
